Ligia’s story

HOW IT STARTED

I was born and raised in Romania, a beautiful country in Eastern Europe. My creative journey started in my early years of life when I would spend more time drawing random designs on the side of my school notebooks and highlighting all the titles and subtitles, rather than actually completing my homework. Fast forward to high school, I was THAT girl with her point-and-shoot camera, who took that little biddy thing everywhere with her. Everything I shot was based largely on friends and family events. My nickname used to be “History” because I enjoyed documenting everything through my camera. After my parents gifted me my first DSLR, I slowly started to make my transition into the wedding industry. In 2009 I shot my very first wedding and the rest is…HISTORY. In 2016, I followed my heart, left everything behind – my family, my country, my culture, my language – and moved to the USA to be with my husband. Jordan and I currently reside in Raleigh, North Carolina, but our passports are ready because we’re always up for traveling.

My love for travel stems from the desire to explore as much of the world as possible. Whether it’s a new beach town or a new country, I’m always up to planning the next adventure.

Everything I do, I do to glorify my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My primary purpose is to make God’s name famous in my business and daily life.

My love for photography stems from the desire to create beautiful imagery that is a genuine reflection of your story by combining a photojournalistic approach with a fine art aesthetic. My work is centered on emotion, whether it’s the groom’s tears as the bride comes down the aisle or your first embrace as husband and wife,
